We are seeking a Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant specializing in Finance & Supply Chain Management (SCM). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring, implementing, and optimizing Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions for enterprise clients. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes, supply chain workflows, and best practices to drive digital transformation.
Functional/Technical Skills
Must be proficient in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Finance and Supply Chain Module.
Must have experience in implementing 3+ D365 projects.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong expertise in Financial Management, General Ledger, AR, AP, Costing, and Budgeting
Hands-on experience in Procurement, Inventory, and Warehouse Management within D365 SCM
In-depth knowledge of Business Process Modeling (BPM), security roles, and workflows
Experience in data migration, master data management, and system integration
Experience in application migration from legacy ERP systems
Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, and other Power Platform tools
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance standards (IFRS, GAAP, tax regulations)
Ability to work in an Agile environment and manage multiple projects
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience in presales engagements, including client presentations and solution scoping
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
8+ years of hands-on experience in implementing Dynamics 365 F&O (previously AX) for Finance and Supply Chain modules.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the functional analysis, configuration, and implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) solutions
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into functional design documents (FDDs)
Configure and customize General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Cost Accounting modules
Implement Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, Production, and Logistics modules within Supply Chain Management
Provide guidance on financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance within D365 F&O
Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend best practices for process optimization
Work closely with technical teams to ensure proper system integrations with third-party applications
Develop and execute test plans, UAT scripts, and training sessions for end-users
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Troubleshoot functional issues and provide post-go-live support to ensure system stability
Stay updated on Microsoft roadmap updates and implement new features as required
Lead data migration activities, ensuring seamless transition of master data, transactions, and configurations
Oversee application migration from legacy systems to Dynamics 365 F&O, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption
Support presales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal creation, and responding to RFPs/RFIs
Work with sales and business development teams to understand client needs and propose tailored Dynamics 365 F&O solutions
