Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Power BI and Business Intelligence Specialist with deep expertise in Power BI (Desktop & Report Server), SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and data analytics. The role involves designing, optimizing, and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data models, ensuring data quality, and driving best practices in business intelligence and reporting performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard & Report Development:
  Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business needs.
  Manage report delivery through Power BI Report Server (On-Premises).

• Data Modeling & Analytics:
  Build and maintain SSAS Tabular and OLAP models; perform data cleansing, transformation, and mining to extract meaningful insights.
  Ensure consistent data quality and model reliability.

• ETL Development:
  Design and automate ETL workflows using SSIS for efficient data integration, transformation, and migration.

• Optimization & Best Practices:
  Implement and maintain Power BI performance best practices, including data model tuning and server optimization.
  Enable customers to effectively use Power BI and related BI tools.

• Customer Support & Training:
  Provide hands-on troubleshooting and guidance for dashboard development and optimization.
  Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill customer teams on BI tools and methodologies.

• Collaboration & Communication:
  Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define reporting requirements.
  Translate complex technical insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  Recommend improvements to data architecture and reporting frameworks.

Required Technical Expertise

• Power BI / Report Server: Advanced dashboard design, visualization, and performance optimization

• SSRS: Design and deployment of complex reports; proficiency in SQL queries and stored procedures

• SSAS: Strong experience in Tabular and OLAP models; expertise in DAX and MDX

• SSIS: ETL design, data migration, and automation

• Data Analytics: Solid foundation in data cleansing, modeling, mining, and transformation
