Delivery Executive/Leader

Overview:

We seek an experienced Delivery Exec - Leader with a strong background in consulting, ideally with expertise in Dynamics solutions. This leader will oversee the health and success of multiple delivery engagements across the United States, ensuring high standards of execution, client satisfaction, and strategic alignment. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of consulting experience, act as an executive sponsor, provide mentorship to delivery teams, and support pre-sales activities. You will play a crucial role on the leadership team to share ideas and evolve the delivery organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Health Ownership:

  • Oversee the health of multiple Microsoft-focused delivery engagements, with a particular emphasis on Dynamics projects.

  • Regularly assess project metrics, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Serve as a primary escalation point for project managers and client stakeholders, proactively resolving any issues that may impact delivery outcomes.

Executive Sponsorship:

  • Act as an executive sponsor for key Microsoft accounts, fostering strong client relationships and ensuring alignment with client expectations.

  • Lead regular executive review sessions, providing insights on project status, challenges, and strategic alignment.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Coach and mentor delivery teams, particularly on best practices in Microsoft project delivery, Dynamics solutions, and client engagement.

  • Encourage continuous improvement and innovation within the team, while supporting professional development and career growth for team members.

Pre-Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with sales and account teams to provide expertise in Microsoft and Dynamics project delivery during pre-sales, including proposal development and client presentations.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on Microsoft best practices, project risks, and mitigation strategies.

  • Assist in developing delivery strategies aligned with client needs and our organizational goals.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Contribute to the organization’s strategic vision for Microsoft projects, identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings and improve client satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop scalable delivery frameworks and methodologies for Microsoft and Dynamics solutions.

  • Act as a thought leader within the organization, staying current on industry trends and contributing to innovation initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Consulting Management Experience: 15+ years in consulting services with a proven track record in delivery leadership, client management, and driving successful outcomes across complex, multi-project engagements.

  • Methodologies: In-depth understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional teams, with strong mentoring and coaching skills that drive performance and professional growth.

  • Client-Facing Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, skilled at engaging and influencing senior executives and key stakeholders, especially in high-stakes environments.

  • CRM/ERP experience: Knowledge of ERP/CRM solutions with specific experience in delivering Microsoft Dynamics projects is considered a strong asset.

  • Pre-Sales Acumen: Hands-on experience in pre-sales support, including solution development, proposal writing, and client presentations, with a strategic approach to aligning client needs with delivery frameworks. Experience & understanding of agreements and contracts.

  • Strategic and Analytical Mindset: Advanced problem-solving skills, with a proactive and analytical approach to identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills: Ability to guide teams through complex challenges.

  • Adaptability: Highly adept at managing multiple engagements across a diverse client portfolio, with the agility to pivot and prioritize based on client and business needs.
